GROUP RETREATS

During our non- summer camp season (late August-mid June), YMCA Camp Ockanickon hosts a wide range of community groups.  Camp’s beautiful scenery is a perfect backdrop for your retreat, conference or scouting program.

YMCA Adventure Guides/Princesses, Girl/Boy Scouts, College groups/associations, teen leadership programs, churches, and sports teams are just a few examples of the types of groups that plan their retreats with us!

Our Group Services department works with you to create a schedule with as much or as little Camp program as you would like.  We can provide a full, traditional camp program or we can simply act as a hospitable host for a schedule with your own program.

Check out a complete list of the activities we offer.

Our Food Services department provides a variety of well balanced, delicious meals.  Meals are served family style and are accompanied by our world famous salad bar.  Our chef and kitchen staff will make every effort to accommodate any special dietary needs.

YMCA Camp Ockanickon has three winterized lodges that accommodate 28-32 participants each and can be used year-round.  The lodges are dorm style with two large bedrooms, two bathrooms (with multiple showers, toilets, etc.), a larger common meeting space and a fireplace. During our shoulder seasons (mid-April through mid-June and late August through mid-October), participants can choose to stay in our rustic cabins.  The rustic cabins are a screened in and sleep eight people each. Enclosed bathrooms and showers are located just a short walk away.

Please contact our Group Services Director for more information or dates that you are interested in.
